Have you noticed healthy foods like milk have skyrocketed lately? We did–and we wondered how preventative health care reform would work if we didn’t have access to healthy foods. Guess how the candidates answered this one?

Health Care (Episode 4, Part 1)–a basic system needs to have a structure where there is some type of control with feedback to influence direction/performance, just like a thermostat that keeps the proper temperature.
I also agree that Edwards making it mandatory for everyone to see a doctor every year would not be so effective. An apple a day . . . prevention, education and practicing good healthy habits are indeed very important. The last time I saw a fellow MD was nearly 4 years ago when my finger was broken, but as they say, ‘if it’s not broken, don’t fix it!’
Obama wants a universal health care plan, so people like you/me who eat/exercise properly, are healthy, etc, have to pay for those who are like couch potatoes? Yes, there are some unfortunate ones who ‘inherit’ health problems, and we should provide help. But we should not penalize people who are industrious/take of themselves, and use a (socialized) system that does not encourage good healthy habits, etc.
McCain? ‘Da man’ seems pretty coherent after what he’s been through. He probably just needs hearing aids!!! (Episode 3, Part 1) No plan is perfect for everyone — here the people decide with their tax credits.
